The ancient art and science of yoga is a holistic practice designed as a framework for living.

Many of us in the West enjoy the physical practice of yoga but it is the philosophy of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras that assist us in transforming not just physically but on the levels of emotion, intellect and spirit.

 

We can utilise the physical practice of yogic postures and breathing to  reconnect with our bodies and minds.  With practice and commitment we can become open and receptive to the blissful and profound experience of our own inner stillness.

 

Yoga can become much more that a 20 minute or hour long practice, it can become a way of living... a way of living in the now with a body that is strong , a mind that is clear and a spirit that knows and feels it's compassion connection to the entire universe.

 

Our practice is on the mat.......then we go out and live it!
